About

Our first-ever Samurai Games Event was held on Tuesday, June 28th. A great time was had by all. Games included Ship-to-Shore, Tug-of-War, Sumo, Throw Them Into The Fire, Jiu-Jitsu, and Hunter & The Hunted - Advanced.

This semi-competitive event gave students something to prepare for, and real rewards for performing well. We've never seen our students train with such diligence and dedication. Congratulations to all who participated and gave it their best!

Participants won points within each game. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals were given for each weight category and for the Kickboxing division, and participants on the winning team (Blue Team vs Red Team) were given preference in the raffle prize giveaway. Prizes included drones, digital cameras, grappling dummies, punching bags, boxing reflex ball headbands, pokemon cards, barbie houses, legos, science kits, and much more. Everyone got a prize :-)

The games were open to current and previous Mindful Martial Arts students, and to certain students from other schools, by invite, ages 6-17.
