Sumo:
When we play Sumo, you and your training partner start at opposite ends of the rope-boundary and start when the referee says so.
You Win When:
They go outside the boundary, OR
They touch the mat with anything other than their feet.
Ju-Sumo:
Same as Sumo, but the you both start with Judo Grips (also known as 50/50 Grips).
Sumo With Takedowns:
Start with Judo Grips. Students get one point when the other person goes outside the boundary, and two points if they get a successful takedown (holding top position for 3 seconds). There's no consequence for simply touching the mat with something other than the feet. Winner is whoever gets two points first.
