Mouthguard:
A mouthguard is required for participation in any competitive games event (held semi-annually), and optional for in-class rolling/sparring. Mouthguards are likely available on-island at Target and Walmart. If you want to order from Amazon, we recommend these mouthguards because they come with a case, have great reviews, and seem to be reasonably priced. Any brand or color is fine:

Kid's Kickboxing
These requirements are influenced by the official Approved Safety Gear for the US Fight League — the foremost developmental league for Mixed Martial Arts Competition in the US.
THE COLOR BLACK: We ask that all the gear be plain black in color, and also that the clothing is plain black as well, to support a cohesive team vibe that builds trust and rapport and, through that, improves performance and safety. If the gear you want isn't available in black, please choose another brand or wait for it to become available.

Boxing Gloves
Get all black colored gloves. Size recommendations are:

Women's Self-Defense
-For bottoms, drawstring shorts (e.g. board-shorts) are preferred. Leggings, spats, or stretchy pants are great, but shorts worn over the top of any long leggings/spats are preferred.
-For the top, please bring a durable plain t-shirt that covers the shoulders and has a normal/high/crew neck.
Adult's Jiu-Jitsu
If you elect to wear a different brand from what's listed below, please ensure you get the same exact colors.

Gloves, an undershirt, and shin guards are required for participation. Headgear and mouthguards are required if you want to do in-class sparring, which is recommended.
